BEWARE OF THE JELLYFISH
As you walk down from the busy main road you are greeted by a wide golden sandy beach. As you pump your kite and get rea
dy for your session you are surround by sheer beauty. Thailand is stunning.
Thailand as many of you will know is a lightwind country so bring your big kites. If you foil then bring your foil kite and foil board for sure.
What you might not know is that the waters here are filled with jellyfish, you can even see them from the shoreline just waiting for their next victim. I highly recommend that you cover all body parts so that their vicious tentacles don't leave a tattoo from Thailand that you never asked for!!!

A look to Hua Hin from kitesurf instructor
Guys I have to be honest when I arrived took me some days to get use to lightwind, teaching just imagine using 19 mts. B
ut for me after 3 months that I’ve been here and couple of more I can say is the one of my best experiences getting happy with 10 knots! Teaching with 10 knots make new ability, and you know what is more fun people learn, enjoy and get on the board! Incredible and true.
So why I recommend you this spot about the location, facilities and totally beginner friendly. Hua Hin got the good balance with commercial and kite beach sometimes you missing when the spot is to isolate and paradise, you find everything cheap place, food and transport, Here is come my tip stay one month is more cheap than other spot just 7 days, believe me! (my best recommendation to be the zero a hero is stay longer time practicing). Is close to Bangkok main airport you can find cheaps flights.
Beginner friendly is the best thing that Hua Hin got, with conditions you will not feel in danger situation that sometimes in strong wind happens, friendly wind is better to connect and get familiar with the kite, and don’t doubt when you get the board, the schools got the perfect big gears to keep the same feeling the kite give you and get the passion.
And don’t be worry about lightwind is somedays and depend of the season, the best months to go is February, march and April, when is coming the south wind and the lightwind days is over, 14 to 23 knots.
